Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data collected through this site is Henrique Augusto Saraiva Barbosa, sole trader (trading as Bring AI to Business), NIF 266073280, registered office Rua da Lameira 310, Folhada, 4635-203 Marco de Canaveses, Portugal. For any question about your data, write to [email protected].
What data we process
- When you email us: your name, email address and the content of your message.
- When you use the calculator on a campaign page and send us your details: your name, work email, company, sector, team size, your phone or WhatsApp number if you give it, the two calculator values (hours per week and hourly value) and the campaign information contained in the link you came from (utm parameters). If you choose to tell us more: the tasks that take most of your time, the tools you use, what you would fix first and when you would like to start.
- If you become a client: contact and billing details and the business information you give us access to for the audit, handled under the contract and, where applicable, a data processing agreement.
- When you visit the site: the host logs technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, approximate country) for security and to show the site in your language. The main pages use no analytics, advertising or social media tools; the campaign pages are described in “Campaign pages and measurement” below.
Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- Answering your requests and preparing the diagnosis — steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Carrying out the audit and the services ordered — performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Invoicing, accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Site security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Measuring the performance of our ads and showing them to people who may be interested, through the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API — your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given in the cookie banner and which you can withdraw at any time. Without consent, none of this data is sent to Meta.
- Anonymous counts of visits and steps on campaign pages — legitimate interest in improving our pages (Article 6(1)(f)); these counts store no personal data.
We do not sell your data and make no automated decisions that have legal effects on you. We use your data for advertising only where you have consented, as described below.
Who receives your data
Only the service providers we need in order to work, processing the data on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — delivery and security of the site;
- Hetzner Online GmbH — hosting of the server where requests sent from campaign pages are stored;
- Cloudflare, Inc. (email forwarding) and Google (Gmail) — receiving the mail sent to [email protected];
- certified accountant and certified invoicing software — to meet tax and accounting obligations.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. In those cases the transfer relies on the mechanisms provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Meta Platforms Ireland Limited only receives data if you accept the Meta Pixel on a campaign page, and handles it under its own privacy policy.
If you give a phone number, we may also reply to you on WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of Meta), only about your request.
How long we keep your data
- Contact requests that do not lead to a contract: up to 2 years after the last contact. This includes requests sent from campaign pages.
- Client data: for the duration of the contract, then for the applicable limitation period.
- Invoicing and accounting records: 10 years, as required by Portuguese tax law.
- Hosting technical logs: for the period set by the host.
- Access to your tools granted for the audit: removed at the end of the work.
Your rights
You may at any time ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict its processing or to receive it in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to [email protected]. We reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), https://www.cnpd.pt, or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
Cookies and browser storage
Our main pages use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It only uses what is strictly needed to remember the language you chose:
- “lang” cookie — stores the language (fr, en or pt); lasts 1 year;
- “lang” local storage entry — same purpose, stays on your device only;
- “langRedirected” session storage entry — prevents switching language more than once per visit; deleted when you close the tab.
These items do not identify you, are not shared with anyone and, being necessary for the service you asked for, do not require consent. You can delete them in your browser settings. The campaign pages work differently: see the next section.
Campaign pages and measurement
The campaign pages (web addresses ending in /start/) are where our ads lead. They work differently from the main pages:
- Anonymous counts: we count visits, use of the calculator, forms sent and clicks on our email address, grouped by campaign. These counts use no cookie or identifier and store no IP address or browser details.
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API, only with your consent: if you click Accept in the banner, the Meta Pixel loads and sets cookies (_fbp and _fbc). It tells Meta which page you viewed and whether you used the calculator, sent the form or clicked our email address. When you send the form, our server also sends Meta a pseudonymised version of your details (email and phone number as irreversible hashes, plus the technical data needed to match the event). If you click Decline, nothing is loaded, no cookie is set and nothing is sent to Meta.
- Your choice: it is kept in your browser (item “bab_consent”), which is needed to remember it. You can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before.
Meta handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). You can also manage how ads are shown to you in your Meta account settings.
[Roles of the parties for the Meta Pixel (joint controllers for the collection and transmission of the data) and transfer terms: to be confirmed by a lawyer before the pixel is switched on.]
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only and has no forms or database of its own. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data you entrust to us, including access limited to what is strictly necessary.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
